OAKLAND – Fourth-seeded Pascack Valley remained unbeaten with a 2-0 win over 12th-seeded Mahwah and advanced to the Bergen County semifinals for the first time since winning it all in 2007.
Pascack Valley came into this weekend as the favorite to advance in the county tournament, but there was a wrinkle to the game.
That draw left Pascack Valley with a little more to be desired in the rematch and the Bergen County squad made sure to finish the job this time around.
Pascack Valley does indeed rely on its depth to outlast teams, but there’s no denying how important Spadafino’s ability to finish scoring chances is.
