January Gallery Talk: WWI, Why did America Enter the War?

On Sunday January 14, 2018 at 1:15 p.m. Tetsu Amagasu, exhibit chair of the Mahwah Museum, will present a gallery talk about the United States Decision to enter WWI. This talk will take place in the upstairs gallery of the Mahwah Museum.

Seating is limited; advanced reservations are recommended.

Initially, President Woodrow Wilson was unmoved by military and war preparedness advocates.

America had just reelected Wilson president under the campaign slogan “He Kept Us Out of War,” and now he needed their support as we were about to enter into war.
