MAHWAH, N.J. – Dr. Tibi Galis, Executive Director of the Auschwitz Institute for Peace and Reconciliation, will discuss “Making Atrocity Prevention a Reality” on Tuesday, September 26 at 1:45 p.m. The program will be held in the Robert A. Scott Student Center, Alumni Lounges under the auspices of the Gross Center for Holocaust and Genocide Studies and the Hillel of Ramapo College.
Previously, Dr. Galis worked as an associate researcher for the UK Parliament, helping develop the UK position on the UN Special Adviser on the Prevention of Genocide, and as rapporteur for the Swedish government at the 2004 Stockholm International Forum on the Prevention of Genocide.
