MAHWAH, N.J. – As a newly approved Yoga Alliance Continuing Education Provider, YACEP®, Ramapo College has scheduled its first continuing education programs for Registered Yoga Teachers.
The YACEP® designation is designed for experts in the yoga community who are approved to teach courses that qualify as Continuing Education hours.
Per the Yoga Alliance, every three years starting from the initial date of registration, all RYTs – including Experienced Registered Yoga Teachers – must complete and log a minimum of 45 hours teaching yoga, and 30 hours of yoga related training that is directly related to one of the Yoga Alliance’s Educational Categories, which at least 10 training hours must be Contact Hours and no more than 20 training hours may be Non-Contact Hours.
RYTs who take courses with a YACEP® can trust that their training counts toward meeting their Yoga Alliance Continuing Education Requirements.
