MAHWAH, NJ – A man was arrested after authorities investigated allegations that he sexually assaulted a woman in Mahwah, the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office announced Friday.
Sebastian Moreno, 21, of Little Ferry, was arrested after a joint investigation by the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office and the Mahwah Police Department, county Prosecutor Gurbir Grewal said in a news release.
The prosecutor’s office received information that a 19-year-old woman reported Moreno sexually assaulted her in Mahwah, Grewal stated.
The prosecutor’s office Special Victims Unit and Mahwah police launched an investigation.
