MAHWAH, NJ – Police are looking for a couple who fled after a machete and various drugs were found in their vehicle, authorities said.
Upon obtaining a search warrant, police found crystal meth, cocaine, ecstasy, prescription pain pills, Xanax, marijuana, drug paraphernalia, a machete and $2,000 in cash, Batelli said.
The couple was taken to a local hotel while the vehicle was searched, but police later learned that they never checked into the hotel, the chief said.
Police have not yet found Topping or Green, but are continuing to search for them.
