Mahwah council seeks to ban unsolicited ‘door-knocks’.
The Mahwah council has proposed an ordinance that would ban unsolicited “Door-knocks.”
The proposal comes after rumors that some Mahwah residents have been visited by members of the Orthodox Jewish community asking them to sell their homes or put their homes on the market.
The issue comes at Mahwah residents fight against Jewish eruv being attached to utility poles around town.
