A general view during the Women’s March on Washington a day after the inauguration.
Last year around this time, women across America stood up, put on their marching shoes and let their voices be heard by walking en masse in various Women’s March events.
Saturday’s Women’s March on New Jersey 2018 in Morristown may be even bigger, with crowds expected from 4,000 to 11,000.
The Morristown march will also commemorate the election of Gov. Phil Murphy, a progressive Democrat who has put women’s concerns and women’s issues on the front-burner, beginning with his naming of former Assembly Speaker Sheila Oliver as his running mate.
