GARFIELD, N.J. – Garfield police interrupted a burglary, nabbing two burglars – one from Mahwah, the other from Ringwood – inside a home, they said Tuesday.
A report of two bandits climbing through the window of a Bloomingdale Avenue home with black bags brought several officers just before noon Monday, Capt. Darren Sucorowski said.
They found an open basement window in back, he said.
A judge ordered both Joshua S. Vandunk, 28, of Ringwood and 30-year-old Peter J. Carrazzone of Mahwah held in the Bergen County Jail pending detention hearings on burglary charges.
