The guest artist will be internationally acclaimed pianist Frank Pavese, described by the New York Times as a pianist with “Energy and commitment,” whose playing is “Persuasive and especially sonorous.” He credits his studies with Bulgarian pianist Elka Gurova Kirkpatrick as having the greatest influence on him.
