Northern Highlands’ Jordan Mapes had a sack, forced fumble and 79-yard touchdown reception against Mahwah.
Jordan Mapes played both his positions superbly Friday, just as so many of his Northern Highlands football teammates did in a 42-0 rout of Mahwah.
Early in the game, Mahwah had a first-and-9 at the Highlanders’ 5-yard line.
The Highlanders’ defense will face a similar challenge Friday night against NV/Old Tappan, which is considerably more talented and experienced than Mahwah.
